The NBA on Christmas Day

Christmas Day is the NBA's biggest regular-season showcase: the league plays straight through the holiday and schedules five games back to back, from midday on the US East Coast until late at night on the West Coast. In 2026 Christmas falls on a Friday, and the slate opens with the New York Knicks, who have played on Christmas more often than any other team, hosting the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden at 12:00 noon Eastern.

The Boston Celtics then host the Miami Heat at 2:30 PM Eastern, the Los Angeles Lakers meet the Philadelphia 76ers at 5:00 PM, the Minnesota Timberwolves host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 8:00 PM, and the Golden State Warriors close the day against the Denver Nuggets at 10:30 PM Eastern, 7:30 PM in San Francisco.

From Europe the first two games are easy viewing: 17:00 and 19:30 in the UK, 20:00 and 22:30 in Türkiye. The Lakers game starts at 22:00 in the UK and 01:00 in Türkiye, and the last two run through the night, at 04:00 and 06:30 on 26 December in Türkiye. Every game on this page is shown in your own time zone.
