Free Countdown Widget and Calendar Feeds
MatchCountdown shows every fixture with a live countdown in the reader's own time zone. Fan sites, forums, bots and fantasy tools can use that for free: a countdown card for a team or a match, a calendar feed for a team or a league, and a page for every fixture to link to.
A countdown card for your site
The card shows the competition, the fixture, the kick-off in your reader's own time zone and a live countdown, and it updates itself. It is a small iframe, 150 pixels high and up to 420 pixels wide, so it fits a sidebar, a match preview or a forum post.
There are two kinds. A team card always shows that team's next fixture, so you can leave it up all season. A match card shows one fixture and is best inside a preview of that game.
The card for Arsenal, as it appears on your page:
The code for it:
<iframe src="https://matchcountdown.com/embed/en/team/football-42" title="Arsenal — MatchCountdown" width="100%" height="150" style="border:0;max-width:420px" loading="lazy"></iframe> <p style="margin:4px 0 0;font:12px/1.4 sans-serif"><a href="https://matchcountdown.com/en/football/teams/arsenal">Arsenal</a> · <a href="https://matchcountdown.com/en">MatchCountdown</a></p>
How to get the code
Open your team's page or the match page on MatchCountdown and choose "Put this countdown on your site". Copy the code and paste it into your page's HTML, or into a custom HTML block in WordPress or a similar editor. Add ?theme=light to the iframe's address for a light card on a light page.
The card loads no ads and no analytics, and sets no tracking cookies on your readers.
What we ask in return
The code includes one line of text under the card: the fixture or team, linking to its MatchCountdown page. Please keep that line. It is how readers find the full schedule, and it is the only thing we ask for the card.
Calendar feeds for a team or a league
Every team page and every league page has a "Subscribe to calendar" button for Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook. The feed keeps itself up to date, so a moved kick-off moves in the reader's calendar too. You can share a feed's address with your readers, for example in a club newsletter or a pinned forum post.
For bots, apps and fantasy tools
If your Discord bot, app or fantasy tool lists fixtures, link each one to its MatchCountdown match page. That page shows the kick-off in each reader's own time zone, a live countdown, where to watch it, and the score once it starts, so you do not have to convert times yourself.
We do not sell links or placements, and nothing here costs money. If you would like a different card size, another sport or a feed we do not offer yet, tell us through the contact page.
