1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing matchcountdown.com ("MatchCountdown", "the service") you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms are an agreement between you and Recete Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17082027, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. What MatchCountdown provides

MatchCountdown is a free informational service showing schedules, local-time countdowns and related information for sports events, plus community features such as fan predictions. We are not affiliated with FIFA, the NBA, MLB, the NFL, Formula 1 or any league, team or governing body mentioned on the site. Team names and logos are used for identification purposes only and remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Accuracy of information

Event dates and times are collected from third-party data providers and converted to your local timezone automatically. Schedules can change at short notice — broadcasters and organisers move kickoff times, matches are postponed or cancelled. We work to keep data fresh but provide the service "as is", without warranty of accuracy or availability, and accept no liability for missed events, incorrect times or any decisions made based on information shown on the site.

4. Predictions are a game, not gambling

The prediction feature lets you pick expected match outcomes for fun and for community statistics. It involves no stakes, no payments and no prizes of monetary value. Predictions and the displayed community percentages are entertainment only and must not be treated as betting advice. MatchCountdown does not offer, facilitate or endorse gambling of any kind.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: disrupt or overload the service; scrape the site in a manner that degrades it for others; attempt to manipulate prediction results through automated voting; or use the service for any unlawful purpose. We may restrict access that violates these rules.

6. Intellectual property

The design, code, editorial guides and original content of MatchCountdown are our property or used under licence. You may share links to the site freely. Republishing our editorial content wholesale without permission is not allowed.

7. Advertising and affiliate links

The service carries advertising and affiliate links. Both are marked where they appear: a paid placement is labelled as advertising, and every paid link carries rel="sponsored" so that search engines are told the same thing you are.

If you follow an affiliate link and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing — the price is the same as it would have been. The programme we take part in today is Fubo, through impact.com.

What a commission does not buy is the broadcast information on this site. The tables naming which channel shows a match in which country are written to be correct rather than profitable: a broadcaster is listed because it holds the rights, and it is listed the same way whether or not we have a contract with it. Where we do, that link earns a commission and is marked accordingly; where we do not, it is an ordinary link.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchCountdown shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
