About the Grand Prix at Interlagos
Formula 1's race in Brazil is held at Interlagos, officially the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, in the south of São Paulo; since 2021 it has been officially billed as the São Paulo Grand Prix. It is one of the few anti-clockwise circuits on the calendar, short and hilly, with a steep downhill first corner, the Senna S, named after the Brazilian world champion. The weather is famously changeable, and a sudden shower has decided more than one race here.
São Paulo is three hours behind UTC, so the race starts in the Brazilian afternoon and in the evening for viewers in Europe and Türkiye, a comfortable slot for a live broadcast. All sessions on this page are converted to your local time zone.
